    • SAINT PIUS VOLUNTEER HUB ACCOUNT SET-UP & INFORMATION

       St. Pius VolunteerHub

      EACH volunteer needs to establish an account as an individual applicant on the Hub.  The family activity hours will still be totaled, however each volunteer needs his or her own log in. Individual Volunteers Need: Up-to-date background check, Up-to-date Protecting God’s Children.

      • BACKGROUND CHECKS
      If you have a completed background check (IChat) on file with St. Pius dated January 01, 2020 to current, St. Pius will provide the results to be recorded on the hub.  If not, you can submit an application for an iChat background check. Fill out your FORM and submit it to [email protected].  Once completed & approved, it will be entered into the hub. If you are unsure if this applies to you, email [email protected] .
       
      • PROTECTING GOD’S CHILDREN
      Requirement for ALL volunteers.  NEW FOR 2023 All volunteers will fall into one of the following categories:
       
      A. Recertification:
      All clergy, employees, volunteers, etc., who have taken PGC prior to January 1, 2020 must be recertified on or before 08/31/2023.  All are encouraged to log into Virtus to verify your email address on file is correct.  For those who need assistance logging into Virtus can email [email protected] If you need PGC recertification, you will be sent a link from Virtus, by July 7th, with the recertification information. 

      Upon completion of the recertification course, submit a copy of your Protecting God's Children Recertification via email to:  [email protected] .

      B. Certification:
      All clergy, employees, volunteers, etc. who have NOT taken PGC at all must be certified on or before 08/31/2023 in order to be eligible to volunteer in any capacity. Please click on the following link to create a Virtus account and find a listing of PGC Classes.

      Upon completion of the full course, submit a copy of your Protecting God's Children Certification via email to:  [email protected] .

      C. Verification:
      If you have taken Protecting God’s Children between January 1, 2020 to present date, St. Pius will provide your PGC training date to your Volunteer Hub. Within 5-7 business days, your PGC will be verified in your account.  

      • Once you are verified as a volunteer in the Hub, you will receive access to all event sign ups for the school year.  Event sign ups will be added throughout the year. As this is in the beginning stages, events will continue to be added throughout the coming months.
       
      • Reminder: Submit any paper forms for service time earned between 01.01.2023 to 06.30.2023 via email to [email protected] .  All signed paper forms MUST be submitted by 09/01/2023 to be recorded and accounted for in your Volunteer Hub.
